Pol Roger vinifies each grape variety and cru separately, and only the finest wines are left longer to make up the blend for the outstanding vintage cuvées. The 2019 is composed of 63.5% Pinot Noir and 36.5% Chardonnay entirely from Premier and Grand Cru grapes, completely unoaked—true to the house modern style—and has been matured for six years in the bottle. 2019 VINTAGE
The winegrowing year began with a mild winter. Spring was marked by cool, wet weather with several episodes of frost and a rainy May. The record heat summer and the rainfall in August allowed a perfect ripening process culminated with the harvest of healthy grapes of fine quality.
