Vinous 93
(50% garnatxa, 25% carinyena and 15% syrah and 10% cabernet sauvignon): Opaque violet. Pungent, mineral-laced dark berry and violet aromas, with notes of licorice, black tea and allspice adding complexity. Stains the palate with intense black and blue fruit flavors, which put on weight and become spicier with air. Concentrated yet lithe Priorat wine with outstanding finishing clarity and supple tannins that fold smoothly into the densely packed berry fruit.
