The 2014 Barbaresco Sori Paitin is another delicious, expressive Barbaresco. Sweet red cherry, plum, spice, rose petal and blood orange are infused in this striking, deep Barbaresco. Like many wines of the vintage, the Sori Paitin has fully ripe tannins that give the wine much of its surprisingly early appeal. Pasquero told me he planned to bottle the 2014 either just before or just after the 2016 harvest.
