The 2018 Calicem is a rich, boisterous Saint-Emilion endowed with tremendous personality. Dark plum, new leather, licorice and spice build in the glass. Elevage seems to have added even further depth to a wine that was already pretty intense from barrel. This is a decidedly flamboyant style of Saint-Emilion. [Antonio Galloni, 01/03/2021]
