2018 Barolo Brunate –
Showing decidedly more structure than Tre Tini, Giuseppe Rinaldi s impressive 2018 Brunate beautifully embodies the vintage, the site and the house style. It opens with heady whiffs of rose petal, violet, spice and camphor that follow over to the full-bodied, balanced palate along with ripe, juicy cherry, orange zest and star anise. Taut, refined tannins provide the framework. Drink 2024-2033. 97 Points
2018 Barolo Tre Tine –
Giuseppe Rinaldi s 2018 Tre Tine is delicious and ready now, offering raspberry compote, baking spice, star anise and a hint of tobacco set against rounded, supple tannins. It s juicy and lithe, and will make for fine drinking over the next several years. Drink through 2030. 95 Points
