From the same parcel as the white, the 2023 Hautes-Cotes de Nuits Rouge has a little reduction on the nose and maybe just needs a little more cohesion. The palate is medium-bodied with chewy tannins. It is a little lower in acidity and boasts a slightly rustic finish. This year, I prefer its white counterpart. [Neal Martin, 01/01/2025]
