Giuseppe Mascarello Langhe Freisa is from a single vineyard, ‘Vigna Toetto’ in Castiglione Falletto. Freisa is a relative of the nebbiolo grape; it shares with its cousin the nice grippy tannins, and has a slight pungent, spicy flavour that makes it a perfect pairing with ethnic, spicy, meaty dishes.
