The 2023 Chassagne-Montrachet Morgeot 1er Cru Rouge has slightly more reduction than the Clos Saint-Jean. It's more introspective at the moment. The palate is fresh, tensile, quite lively and focused. There's a little more mineralite here with a precise finish. This is well worth seeking out. [Neal Martin, 01/01/2025]
