Tasting Notes
Neal Martin 91
The 2022 Puligny-Montrachet Hameau de Blagny 1er Cru has a well-defined, quite intense nose that you could describe as “sunny”-yellow plum and popcorn, a touch of chai. The palate is balanced with a rounded, slightly honeyed entry, lightly spiced with hints of stem ginger and white pepper. It just misses some mineralite and transparency on the finish. Tasted blind at the annual Burgfest tasting.
Anticipated maturity: 2026-2036
