Neal Martin 88-90

Matured in 20% new oak, the 2022 Chassagne-Montrachet Rouge has quite an intense bouquet with dark cherries, blueberry and light violet scents. The palate is well-balanced with a powdery texture, moderate weight, and a little graphite towards the tender but lengthy finish. Give it just a year in bottle. [Neal Martin, 02/10/2023]
