Bottled in mid-August, the 2024 Chassagne-Montrachet Village has a struck match note on the nose at the moment. The palate is a little reductive on the entry. Fine acidity, fresh and sapid, with quite a pronounced nutty note on the finish that reminds me of a Meursault. Fine. [Neal Martin, 01/01/2026]
