As you might have seen in our Paul Gros 2023 offer, Paul is now officially in charge of the winemaking at Domaine Anne Gros. Even though he has a different approach with his own wines, he is staying very true to classic Anne Gros style. The 2024s are exactly what you’d hope for: light, delicate, and full of that pure, perfumed fruit that makes this estate so special.

The top wines always age supremely well and they are very successful also in a difficult vintage like 2024. The Regional and Village wines always offer good value for money and will be ready to pop and pour almost as soon as they arrive. Paul downplays his abilities of producing fine whites but Jasper Morris describes them as ‘high class, fined boned, elegant wines’ so do not sleep on those!

It should be clear by now that quantities are tight this year (especially the Pinot Noir); half a crop for the Grand Crus, hardly any Chambolle, and not enough Vosne-Romanée. What remained after the selection went all in Paul’s ‘Aux Communes’ as it was not enough to make Anne’s Barreaux bottling.

For this reason balanced orders will be prioritize.
